An assistant position attached to the chair of Prof. Valérie Camos will be opened on 1st November 2015 at the Department of Psychology, University of Fribourg, Switzerland. This position could be fulfilled either as a PhD or a Post-doc position.
Research project
Prof. Camos develops, in collaboration with Prof. Barrouillet, a model of working memory, entitled the time-based resource sharing model. The topic of research for the PhD or the post-doc project will related to this model of working memory, more specifically to examine the relationships between working memory and long-term memory, mostly in adults.

Assistant Duties
As assistant to the chair, the candidate will have to be involved in regular teaching duties (e.g., organisation of teaching, seminars, exams preparation) and supervision of students (at bachelor and master level). S/he will also collaborate on other projects of the research group.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Psychology (or related cognitive science discipline) depending on the position.
- strong background in experimental (behaviour) cognitive psychology,
- good French language skills,
- appropriate English language skills to read scientific articles (for the PhD position) and to write and speak in scientific context (for Post-doc position).
